Watching Jobs’ keynote address at Macworld and observing the reactions of the crowd to every single one of his moves is just too weird. Weird and scary. I know that the religion/cult metaphor has been overused when it comes to Apple followers, but I can’t help but think about a church when I watch the first 5 minutes of the keynote (before the demo and geeky stuff really start).
I can just see the trivia questions which are going to come up in the various board games in the next decade: who was the first person to receive a phone call from Steve Jobs’ iPhone directly from the stage at the Macworld 2007 conference in San Francisco? Which movie did Steve Jobs and his friend Phil decide to see together while Jobs and him were talking on the iPhone at Macworld 2007?
Very slick machine though, I agree.
