Lots of driving, hiking, surfing, and some strange sightseeing in the last few days.

Back in San Francisco last night, while choosing a restaurant in our neighborhood, I took a step away from a posted menu I was reading and bumped into a surprised Aaron. Oui oui, le monde est petit.

On retourne l’auto de location aujourd’hui et on s’en va faire du magasinage, avec un arrêt ici et ici, parce qu’on ne se refait pas.

Damn, I just realized that I automatically switched from English to French, which I usually try not to do. Oh well, sorry. I’m in a vacation state of mind so you’ll have to be patient with me.

Bien arrivés, contents, mais fatigués morts. Arrêt obligatoire pour un premier burrito (pas très bon celui-là, on va se reprendre), pélerinage dans mon ancien quartier, montage de côtes, descendage de côtes, mal de pieds, visite éclair chez Trader Joe’s pour faire le plein de vin pas cher… La totale, quoi.

L’appart qu’on a loué est mignon, mais on le quitte déjà pour deux jours. On s’en va à Truckee, loin là-haut dans les montagnes, pour aller rejoindre mes amis et assister à un mariage.
