{"id":1029,"date":"2005-09-02T14:46:00","date_gmt":"2005-09-02T19:46:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/martinepage.com\/wp\/2005\/09\/02\/top-guns-of-montreal\/"},"modified":"2005-09-02T14:46:00","modified_gmt":"2005-09-02T19:46:00","slug":"top-guns-of-montreal","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.martinepage.com\/blog\/2005\/09\/02\/top-guns-of-montreal\/","title":{"rendered":"Top guns of Montreal"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/technorati.com\/\">Technorati<\/a> &#8211; the site that everybody loves to hate &#8211; has a new feature where you can search for blogs by category, on specific subjects. <\/p>\n<p>I checked out the page, called <a href=\"http:\/\/technorati.com\/blogs\/\">Blog Finder<\/a> (in beta), and decided to do <a href=\"http:\/\/technorati.com\/blogs\/Montreal\">a search for Montreal<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>It claims that the results are sorted by &laquo; authority &raquo;.<\/p>\n<p>Result number 1: <a href=\"http:\/\/blork.typepad.com\/blorkblog\/\">The guy<\/a> who shares my house<br \/>\nResult number 2: <a href=\"http:\/\/i.never.nu\/\">The guy<\/a> who takes great care of <a href=\"http:\/\/yulblog.org\/\">Yulblog<\/a><br \/>\nResult number 3: <a href=\"http:\/\/www.digitalapoptosis.com\/\">The guy<\/a> who takes great photos<br \/>\nResult number 4: <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mikel.org\/\">The guy<\/a> who just moved out of Montreal<\/p>\n<p>Nice top line up. All cute Montrealers. Not very many women, as far as I can tell. It works with tags so I guess the girls need to get busy with the tagging business.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/cyberie.qc.ca\/jpc\/2005\/09\/blog-finder-de-technorati.html\">Jean-Pierre Cloutier<\/a> notices that there are no francophone blogs listed and that the method used for choosing the blogs is not explained.<\/p>\n<p>Oh well.
