Help with photo album<\/b><\/p>\n
This is a call for help. I’d like to create photo albums on the Web, but I would rather avoid the usual sites which compress photos, like Yahoo’s Photo Albums, and I would rather host my photos on my server<\/a>. I’m trying to avoid having to code everything by hand, like I do with the Blogging Spot Project<\/a>, and I would love it if the program did automatic thumbnails. The Microsoft Web Album software included on my PC is simple enough, but the ugly layout and the MS banners make me scream. <\/p>\n I found programs on the Web that looked perfect, like PhotoPal<\/a> and Gallery<\/a>, but they both require that you configure your server and I’m pretty lame at this. I read the instructions and got lost. Plus, I think I only have ftp access<\/a> anyway.<\/p>\n Any suggestions? Any program you might have tried that you would care to recommend?
