Make no mistake, it&rsquo;s out to get you, and in the end it will. But every so often, you can catch a piece of it and make it do what you want it to, at least for a little while. You&rsquo;ve got to stay alert, though. Heads up so you don&rsquo;t get caught off base, though if you do, what the hell, it&rsquo;s not the ninth inning, until it is.<\/i><\/p>\n<p>I just finished reading <a href=\"http:\/\/www.salon.com\/books\/feature\/2003\/05\/29\/juska\/index_np.html\">A Round-Heeled Woman &#8211; My Late-Life Adventures in Sex and Romance<\/a>, by Jane Juska, a writer who lives in Berkeley, California. Loved it. Witty, irreverent, surprising. And it makes you wonder what your sex life will be like when you&rsquo;re older&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Last day in San Francisco. Car wash, house cleaning and laundry, lunch in the sun, walk with the dog, trying not to think about all the things I didn&rsquo;t get to do, then goodbye dinner with my friend Jackie and, as B. called her, her blue-eyed squiggly human.
