Epstein wrote a great book called <a href=\"http:\/\/www.craftyscreenwriting.com\/\">Crafty Screenwriting<\/a>, offering some of the most useful advice I&rsquo;ve been able to find in this kind of book. His real-world, no nonsence approach on &laquo; writing movies that get made &raquo; spares us the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.craftyscreenwriting.com\/myth.html\">usual magic formulas<\/a> we find in most screenwriting manuals. Where else are you going to find such clear details about <a href=\"http:\/\/www.craftyscreenwriting.com\/binding.html\">binding your script<\/a>? (Note: Acco #5 Brass Fasteners are hard to find in Montreal. They keep all sorts of sizes, but not #5. I ended up finding mine in a gift shop in a small Nova-Scotia town!)<\/p>\n<p>Alex Epstein co-created the television series Naked Josh (on Showcase in Canada). He was most recently Head Writer for a new science fiction TV series, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.imdb.com\/title\/tt0408378\/\">Charlie Jade<\/a>, which should air next June. <\/p>\n<p>If you&rsquo;re interested in writing &#8211; not just for movies\/tv but creative writing in general &#8211; check out his new blog, <a href=\"http:\/\/complicationsensue.blogspot.com\/\">Complications Ensue<\/a>.
