It&rsquo;s the cat &raquo;. I put the DVD on pause while Alexis and Renaud listened to the cat with their mouths open with surprised. It was the first time that they had ever heard a cat purr. (Their mother has allergies.) They almost looked scared at first but then the smiles that lit up their faces was priceless.<\/p>\n<p>I can&rsquo;t remember the first time I ever heard a cat purr. I grew up with cats and dogs and birds and fishes. Dad even brought a bat home one day and tried to convince mom to keep it in a cage. (He didn&rsquo;t succeed.) He would have loved for one of his kids to become a vet.<\/p>\n<p>Later on tonight, The Mini helped me convince the kids to keep quiet and go to sleep. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/nivuniconnu\/11548727\/\">His methods<\/a> were very convincing.
