If you don&rsquo;t know Beth and her great writing, this interview is a good place to start.<\/p>\n<p><em>&laquo; It bothers me that many writer-bloggers bemoan the time blogging takes from what they term \u00c3\u00af\u00c2\u00bf\u00c2\u00bdreal work\u00c3\u00af\u00c2\u00bf\u00c2\u00bd \u00c3\u00af\u00c2\u00bf\u00c2\u00bd meaning the book or articles they \u00c3\u00af\u00c2\u00bf\u00c2\u00bdought\u00c3\u00af\u00c2\u00bf\u00c2\u00bd to be writing &#8211; and I\u00c3\u00af\u00c2\u00bf\u00c2\u00bdve argued a lot against that way of thinking, and for blogging as a totally valid medium in its own right. More and more serious writers\/thinkers who perhaps don\u00c3\u00af\u00c2\u00bf\u00c2\u00bdt need to write for money, or are sick of writing in a prescribed way for very little money, are discovering that through blogging they can satisfy two desires: the desire to write creatively and well about subjects of their own choice, and the desire to receive feedback through a connected community of appreciative readers and other writers. &raquo;<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Beth has another particularity that she did not mention in the interview: she&rsquo;s so hard on the keyboard that she erased her fingerprints!
