Is it truly going to be different from any other blogging related conference? We&rsquo;ll see what the participants have to say about it when they go back home.<\/p>\n<p>There&rsquo;s much live blogging during the sessions, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.pingv.com\/\">live chat<\/a>, as well as <a href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/tags\/blogher\/\">tons of photos<\/a> being taken. (Check out <a href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/cambodia4kidsorg\/29590983\/\">this woman&rsquo;s tank top<\/a>. I want one.) <\/p>\n<p>It started on a good foot with a <a href=\"http:\/\/napsterization.org\/stories\/archives\/000507.html\">session for speakers<\/a>, giving them guidelines about their upcoming presentations and telling them about the kind of attendees they will be presenting to.<\/p>\n<p>Yes, there are <a href=\"http:\/\/beth.typepad.com\/beths_blog\/2005\/07\/marc_canter_at_.html\">a few men<\/a> attending the conference. We should have told <a href=\"http:\/\/carnets.ixmedia.com\/cfd\/\">CFD<\/a> to hang in the area for a few more days so he could have reported for us.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The BlogHer conference has started in Santa Clara, California.
