Mexico: The photos
You read about it, now is the time to see the pictures! I’ve managed to post the photos of our trip to Mexico before our tan lines disappeared. Not bad! Before you look at them though, here’s a little bit of info:
-All photos were taken with my digital camera, a Canon A40 (2 megapixel). It was the first time I took a digital camera on a trip and I loved it! We still haven’t developed the « regular » photos, taken with B’s 35mm camera.
-To create this online album, I’ve decided to use a program called Jalbum, which was recommended to me by a reader. It’s a great program, it’s easy to use and you don’t have to fuss around with your server. And it’s free, which is very impressive! If you have some design talent and you are interested in the tool, go ahead and create more skins for it!
-There are 6 folders for the 6 towns we visited. Once you click on a folder, you will get thumbnails of the photos. The default layout I picked uses the mouseover technique, but you can also click on the thumbnails and open up a slideshow to see only one photo at a time. Once you are done with the photos from a specific city, you have to click on the button with the little squares in it to get back to the thumbnails, and then on the arrow that points up to get back to the city folders. It’s all much clearer when you actually look at the layout, so go ahead and get started if you are curious!
