Yeepee
I heard the confirmation this morning: Telefilm Canada will be financing part of the development work on the screenplay my producer and I presented to them recently (re: the mafiaboy story), so I will be spending the next few months as a paid screenwriter. Imagine that! After all the segment producing/directing/reporting work I have been doing, it will be great to go back to my first love and the subject of my graduate studies. It almost makes me want to shorten my vacation, but since I only have a few days left in San Francisco, I think I’ll manage to enjoy them. ;-) Plus, Blogger is finally letting me post again, after a few days of down time. Now if you’ll excuse me, there is a big half-german shepherd, half-husky friend who is dying to go on a walk with me. (Photos of my san franciscain menagerie to come soon)
