Two more days in San Francisco, and then it’s time to come back to Montreal. Blork and I just dropped off the convertible we had rented for our 3 day trip to Big Sur/Carmel/Monterey and we decided to hang out downtown, not too far from the car rental office, until dinner time. We’re at the Apple store once again (yeah, I know…), taking advantage of the free Internet access they offer in there. Just for fun and because it’s so easy to do on a Mac, I decided to grab that shot of my sun and wind burned face (thanks to the convertible) while I type this post. Behind me is the « Genius Bar », which I believe is Apple speach for « customer support counter ». Sure. Whatever they say.
The last days have been filled with friends, food and sightseeing (see Blork’s blog for more details). Tonight is the big reunion with my expat quebecois friends, the ones I used to hang out with when I lived here. It is very rare for us to all be in the same city at the same time, so we can expect a big night of partying… The weather has finally warmed up to 75F-80F and the Bay looks gorgeous. As usual, we went a little overboard with the book shopping thing and I’m not looking forward to packing my suitcase again.
