Last Friday night, the hottest single girl in town (Lightspeedchick) and I had a double date at my place with two good looking blue haired dudes. Before she arrived at my place, I told the guys that Lightspeedchick works in the video game industry, which made her a hit with them right away. I knew I would have to fight to get a little attention, especially that Lightspeedchick was bringing her Playstation over and her hot Eye Toy.
After the usual presentations (the guys were not too shy, thank god) we shared a few cakes and some glasses of milk and then Lightspeedchick set up her game gear. The boys went crazy, jumping up and down with excitement, but our single gal is used to male enthusiasm in front of her so she handled it pretty well. The Eye Toy is a very cool thing, a small camera that captures your image and inserts it (as a shadowy presence) inside the video game. No joystick needed. You kill attackers with your bare hands, jump up and down to clean windows and shake your bootie to follow some dancing girl on the screen. It was hard to calm the guys down and convince them that it was time to go to bed. I know. I’m a tough date.
Wired just reviewed a new Eyetoy game featuring some kind of hoverboard. If Lightspeedchick can get her hands on that game, I’m sure she’ll get lots more dates, at least with the blue haired guys. They really clicked.
