Geek help

I need your help, dear crazy people: Imagine two teenage girls (approximately age 16), invited to a private party where they have to go dressed as a videogame character. The characters they pick should be cool and ideally from a popular game that is as recent as possible.

One costume has to be somewhat sexy (without showing a massive amount of skin) while the second costume should be more girl-who-kicks-ass style (for a geekier girl who still wants to look hot).

What are your suggestions? What would these girls be wearing if they went to such a videogame themed party?

And no, you’re not invited. ;-)

Note: If you can also provide a link to a picture of the costume you’re suggesting, I’ll be forever grateful and will send good energy and warm weather your way.

    mais bon hein c’est pas un jeu � l’origine, ni si r�cent… euh… la schtroumphette? j’pense que chuis pas bonne � ce jeu-l�, moi…

  6. There’s the Joanna Dark character from the Perfect Dark series, and of course the power-suited Samus from Metroid Prime…

    from anime (dunno if that counts) but those characters from Neon Genesis Evangelion had cool designs – little antennas shaped like cat ears, very « kawaii. »

    Not really gaming either, but there’s Aeon Flux — the movie version at least is also less skin-baring than the Peter Chung animated version.

    then…there’s the character of Monica from the RPG Dark Cloud 2 (sword-wielding Feisty Princess�), and several different female characters from the Final Fantasy series, too.

    And who could forget Lala from Space Channel 5? (imagine a game character designed like Lady Miss Kier from Dee-Lite…)

    Effectivement j’aime bien Chun-li (bien qu’elle ai d’assez imposants cuisseaux :))… mais �a risque d’�tre un peu ancien pour des ados (non pas qu’on soit des vieux cons mais �a commence � dater ;)

  16. Je pense que le meilleur choix serait un des jeux japonais style Final Fantasy. Ces jeux ne sont pas mes favoris, alors je ne peux pas te dire lequel est le plus r�cent ou le plus populaire en ce moment :)

  17. Glue or sew some velcro on an old T-shirt, dress or whatever garment. Next, also with Velcro, attach all sorts of items to it until the person looks like a big ball of stuff, straigth out of Katamari Damacy.

    Can’t get more geekier than that and, in fark style, « I’d hit it ».
