Name dropping

I have spent a lot of time on the phone in the past, chatting with a producer about casting for various screenplays we were working on. It was part business (you need names for fundraising) and part fun talk (dreaming about who we could try to get, laughing at possible casting mistakes, etc).

These days, we’re doing it for real, knowing that the people whose names we are throwing at each other might end up getting a new job in just a few weeks.

We’ve had so many false starts that I can barely believe it…

Big news to come soon! But for now, mum’s the word.

  1. I feel like we’re all holding our breath with you, hoping… no… KNOWING that this time, it’s the real thing :) Comment tu disais dj? Tiens-toi ben…

  2. I hope it’s the teen movie script. I think it would add a real umph to our current cinema. I am kinda tired of bad comedies and family dramas. A quebec teen movie, is the way to go.

  3. Martine: heh heh! J’ose pas le redire! ;-)

Hugo: I’m very pleased to see that there are people out there who remember what my projects are! My own family is getting confused (and I can’t blame them).
