In a post-event report on the behavior of its more than 600,000 subscribers, TiVo, the personal video recorder technology company, reported that the single most paused or freeze-framed event of the live show was the stage entrance of presenter Julia Roberts. Imagine analyzing all tv shows like that, including soft porn shows on TQS. What was the most paused position or camera angle? Which actress was the most « rewound »? This could also be used during political campaigns: which politician got fast forwarded the most? At which part of their speech did people start switching to another channel? We’re coming into a whole new age of television production and advertising.
