Turns out I had two readers for the 4th draft of the screenplay.
The first reader, Blork, seemed to enjoy it: he laughed in the right places, didn’t yawn too much and made a lot of notes with a purple pen, which is much less threatening than a red one. He doesn’t seem crazy about the ending though, but he’s a bit tired so we’ll go over it again tomorrow, with a clearer Ed head.
The second reader liked it okay but he seemed to get a little bored. And he was bummed out that the dog did not die at the end.
