I said yesterday that I did not like fight scenes in a movie and I realized later on that it’s not entirely true. I love fight scenes, as long as they involve some kind of kung fu and very little blood. I could never get tired of the fight scenes in Crouching Tiger, the beautifully shot fights in Hero and the silliness of aerial combat in The East is Red.
Oh, and surf movies. I love surf movies. No great plot, no interesting character development. Just dudes (and dudettes) surfing their hearts away. Go figure.
