I love this panoramic shot of Montreal, taken by Blork last weekend.

That’s actually one of the few things I enjoy about living on the South shore: seeing the river on a daily basis and remembering that Montreal is an island. I almost never saw the water when I lived in the city. Montreal really has to work on its waterfront access.

I really can’t stand the trucks that drive around the city with big ads on them and I’ve complained about them before. The whole concept is just wrong.

Michael from mtl3p found out about a protest being organized on Monday, August 8th, around one of those (b)ad trucks. I have out of town guests and won’t be able to make it but I should follow the suggestion of this organization and send an official letter to complain.
