Everything you need to know about Lost in 8 minutes 15 seconds.
This is a great recap for fans of the show. It’s a nice, much needed refresher (it’s been months since the last episode aired), but it’s also hilarious. I like the way they are making fun of their own narrative, with little side comments that seem to say « yeah, we know it’s crazy and we’ve been pushing you around, but you love us anyway ».
If you’re dying to dive into the Lost storyline again, check out Find 815, an alternate reality game (ARG) which works in parallel with the show. This is a fast growing area of storytelling which many screenwriters will have to adapt to in the coming years. I’ve suggested some ideas for parallel narratives to producers in the past, but the business model is never very obvious and the market is rather limited in Quebec (and Canada, for that matter), so things are moving at a slower pace here. That’s too bad, as some of these ideas can be done with a small budget. I guess I’ll have to keep insisting…
