I found this interesting piece of trivia about Ikea in the current issue of Maisonneuve magazine:

« In a comprehensive two-part series on Ikea published in June 2004, London’s Guardian newspaper claimed that 10 percent of Europeans currently alive were conceived on Ikea beds. »

10% of Europeans! I wonder if any of them have been conceived in-store?

Earlier this month, I blogged about an art project in a San Francisco bookstore where the books were going to be reclassified by color instead of subject. There are photos of the result here. Pretty cool.
